Websites for driving schools: sign-ups, prices and theory class dates

Learner drivers are mostly young, search on their phones and compare three things above all: price, waiting time and reviews. Parents often pay too and want transparency. A driving school website that answers these questions instantly and allows sign-up in a few minutes fills theory classes. It's also the most important tool for finding instructors. Examples use German rules.

A page per licence class

Searches run by class and place: "car licence", "motorcycle licence A2", "truck licence". Each class gets a page with:

  • Requirements, minimum age and the process from sign-up to test.
  • Mandatory lessons and the typical number of practice lessons.
  • Prices as shown on the price notice.
  • Specials such as automatic, accompanied driving from 17 or intensive courses.

Prices: as on the notice, only clearer

Section 32 of Germany's Driving Instructors Act requires driving schools to display their fees with their terms on the premises: among others the base fee, the 45-minute lesson, special training drives and test fees, per class. If you show prices online, use the same structure so nothing looks contradictory.

Add an honest cost range: the total mainly depends on the number of practice lessons. A realistic range avoids disappointment and builds trust with parents.

Sign-up and contact the way learners want

An online sign-up with class, preferred start and contact details saves office time; signatures follow at the first appointment. Show the next theory start dates, intensive courses and office hours. Many learners prefer WhatsApp to calling; an official WhatsApp contact with clear response times lowers the barrier.

Finding instructors and cost

Driving instructors are scarce. A careers page with salary, vehicle fleet, working hours and support with instructor training brings more than a job board ad. A driving school website with class pages, sign-up and careers page starts at €1,800 with us.

Frequently asked questions

Should we show prices on the website?
Yes. Price is one of the main comparison criteria. Use the same structure as the legally required price notice and add a realistic total cost range.
Is online sign-up worth it?
Yes, because many learners want to sign up in the evening when the office is closed. Signatures and documents follow at the first appointment.
How do we get more Google reviews?
Ask right after a passed test and send a link. That's when satisfaction is highest.
